INFORMATION

The undersigned Assistant City Prosecutor of Cebu

City, Cebu hereby accuses HUAZE C. LEE of the crime of
GRAVE THREAT punishable under Article 282 of the
Revised Penal Code committed as follows:

That on or about 7:00 pm of August 30, 2018, in Cebu

City, Philippines, and within the jurisdiction of this Honorable
Court, the above-named accused, moved by personal
resentment, did then and there willfully, unlawfully, and
feloniously threaten, and use personal violence upon the
person of JOY MALDITA E. SOBERANO with and infliction
upon the latter of a wrong amounting to a crime by then and
there uttering the following words while pointing a kitchen knife:
“Di mo kasabot?! Di pa lage ko mubayad. Tagaan ra nako mo
ug dyes segundos. Kung naa pa gale mo dri, pandunggabon na
nako mo!“ (Don't you understand? I told you that I will not pay
yet. I will give you ten seconds. If you are still here, I will stab
you!).To the damage and prejudice of the proven during the trial
of the case.

Acts Contrary to Article 282 of the Revised Penal Code of

the Philippines.

COMPLAINT – AFFIDAVIT

I, JOY MALDITA E. SOBERANO, 40 years old, married,

and a resident Basak Pardo, Cebu City, after having been
sworn to according to law hereby depose and say:

1. That I know HUAZE LEE for he is my one of my

boarder.

2. That around 7:00 pm on the 30th day of August 2018, I

was with my daughter Liza Mae Soberano at my own
boarding house to collect the monthly rental payment.

3. That's when I knock the door, it’s suddenly opened to

my surprised I saw the said accuse HUAZE LEE
standing and holding a kitchen knife and pointing
towards us, I told him that I will collect the monthly
rental payment.

4. That's we started arguing instead of paying me he

rather told me “Di mo kasabot?! Di lage ko mo bayad.
Tagaan ra nako mo og dyes segundos kung naa pa
gani mo dire pandunggabon tamo.” (Don’t you
understand? I told you that I will not pay, I will give you
ten seconds, If you are still here. I will stab you.)

5. That I executed this affidavit to attest my strong

intention to file Grave Threat against HUAZE LEE;

I, LIZA MAE SOBERANO, 19 years old, single, and a

resident Basak Pardo, Cebu City, after having been sworn to
according to law hereby depose and say:

1. That I know HUAZE LEE for he is one of our boarder.

2. That around 7:00 pm on the 30th day of August 2018 I

was with my mother Joy Maldita Soberano we went to
the boarding house owned by my mother located at
Basak Pardo, Cebu City.

3. That's we went directly to the room of HUAZE LEE my

mother knock the door and its suddenly opened I was
shocked when I saw HUAZE LEE standing and holding
a kitchen knife pointing towards us.

4. That when I saw my mother and the said accused

arguing each other I immediately run away and ask for
a help.

5. That I executed this affidavit to attest my strong

intention to file Grave Threat against HUAZE LEE;

AFFIDAVIT OF THE WITNESS

I, YUAN GONZA, 23 years old, single, and a resident

Basak Pardo, Cebu City, after having been sworn to according
to law hereby depose and say:

1. That I know HUAZE LEE for he my long time board

mate.

2. That around 7:00 pm on the 30th day of August 2018 I

was inside my room sleeping and when I heard a loud
noise I was awakening.

3. That's when I hurriedly went outside to check what’s

going on. And I heard “Di lage ko mo bayad. Tagaan ra
nako mo og dyes segundos kung naa pa gani mo dire
pandunggabon tamo.” ( Don’t you understand? I told
you that I will not pay I will give you ten seconds, If you
are still here. I will stab you.

4. That when I saw HUAZE LEE pointing a kitchen knife

towards JOY MALDITA SOBERANO and with her
daughter LIZA MAE SOBERANO.

5. That time the daughter of JOY MALDITA SOBERANO

ran away to asked for help and I also shouted for ask
help to my fellow board mate.

6. That some of the boarder come out to their room and

some of them are giving an advice to HUAZE LEE
calm down.
