● Go over examples

● Give students the bolded and underlined parts of the chart; have students fill in or
discuss what could go in the blanks of their chart (the sections that are not bolded and
underlined)
● Use white board to go over this with students
○ Split the board in half (one side Cause, one side Effect)
○ Write the bolded/underlined parts on the board under the right column, and write
down answers students give in the other column for the cause or effect of what
you have already given them
