SLEEVES (BOTH ALIKE) B E LT
Join both shoulder seams, then mark points Using 3.75mm (US 5) needles and yarn double, cast
along side seam edges 23[23:24:24:25:25]cm, on 13 sts loosely.
9[9:9½:9½:9¾:9¾]in, either side of shoulder seams
1 st Row: (RS) Knit.
(to denote base of armhole openings).
2 nd Row: K1, P11, K1.
With RS facing, using 3.75mm (US 5)
needles and yarn double, pick up and knit Rep last 2 rows until Belt measures
106[106:110:110:116:116] sts evenly along armhole 165[170:175:180:185:190]cm, 65[67:69:70¾:72¾:74¾]in,
opening edge between marked points. ending with RS facing for next row.
Star ting with a purl row, work in st st until Cast off loosely.
Sleeve measures 60[60:61:61:61:62]cm,
23½[23½:24:24:24:24½]in, from pick-up row, ending
with RS facing for next row. TO MAKE UP
Cast off loosely. Press carefully following instructions on ball band.
Join cast-off ends of back neck border extensions,
then sew one edge to back neck edge. Join side
and sleeve seams, reversing sleeve seams for last
20cm, 7¾in, for turn-back. Fold 15cm, 6in, cuff to RS
around lower edge of Sleeves.
