SETTING OUT Set out points /tile patterns marked on the desired
(CONTD) locations with reference to datum levels (Substrate
and finish levels)
Check that FD and fixture location is in one tile

Ensure that setting out is such that cut piece of less

INSTALLATION Check that tiles joint spacing is uniform

used
Check that wall tiles are at right angles at corners
Check that floor tiles are laid under the wall tiles at
peripheries
Grouting done with approved grout materials and
GROUTING AND adequate penetration in to joints
CLEANING
Proper cleaning done for the tiled surface
Proper protection done for installed tiles against any

damages or distortion
