I. Introduction

The Internet has introduced improvements in technology,communication, and online entertainment,


but it is also incredibly useful for Education Purposes as well. Teachers use the internet to supplement
their lessons, and a number of Prestigious Universities have opened up free online lectures and courses
to everyone.

There are several studies in literature investigating the possibility of using on internet on teaching and
learning. Internet plays an important role in facilitating learning. It has facilitated many effective
educational methodologies such as self directed, independent and collaborative learning. It can
connect people who are separated by schedule and location, might otherwise not be able to learn from
each other.

It has even allowed retired teachers to read and educate children in poorer countries. Widespread news
of the Internet has open up a substantial amount of knowledge to a much broader range of people than
ever before.

Increased implementation of technology, applications will increase students comprehension of content


and development of skills in such areas analytic reasoning, problem solving, information evaluation
and creating information regarding the effect of technology usage on learning achievements.

III. STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

The study aims to determine the use of Internet for Educational Purposes.

Specifically, the study aims to answer the following problems:

1. What is the positive impact of Internet in Terms of Educational Purposes to the Senior High
Students of ANHS?
2. How many hours do they usually use the Internet?

3. What are the applications do they use?

4. Do their teachers also used the help of internet in their collaborative way of teaching? What apps
does these Teachers use?

IV. SCOPE AND LIMITATION

The respondents of the study are the students of Alicia National High School which are the Senior
High Students who already have an experience in using Internet for their Educational Purposes. And
also additional comments from the Teachers of the Senior High.

V. SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

The study will benefit the following:

Students:

Technology helps students become independent, proficient and make their works much easier and less
time consuming.

It can help students search their home works and to help them guide to do something they didn't know.

It can also help them to add knowledge about something they didn’t know or they wanted to know
about.

Students have access to the most recent data therefore are in a better position to make well inform
decisions and conclusions on assignments and projects.

Students can use the internet to check their understanding in virtually in any subject and can hop from
test to test based on their specific learning styles.
Teachers:

It can help them to do their lessons and lectures easier.

Their presentation will be more easy to learn by their students through the help of the internet together
with their laptops.

They can efficiently present their lessons with their applications that they acquire

Teachers can find suggestions, lesson plans, practical support, informations and materials through the
use of internet.

Administrators:

In order to administer well.

They can use the educational software program in order to review students informations; Be available
all the time.

Provide motivation or reward students.

Keeps parents well-informed.

Facilitate enrollment.

Future Researchers:

In order to further their research well with their future researches.

It can help them add knowledge about their research using Internet.

Researchers should address how to select the most valid and applicable incidence data and how to
