SURFACE DISINFECTION
airinspace® HPVPA system : an advanced technology.
The principle of the airinspace® HPVPA system is to diffuse a dry and cold hydrogen peroxide and peracetic acid solution
called X-CID, which is ready-to-use.
In acting as a non-specific oxidizer, this biocide solution destroys bacteria, spores, fungi and yeasts, viruses and mycobacteria,
including tubercle bacillus. Furthermore, it is fast-acting.
Hydrogen peroxide is a powerful bactericide agent as long as it is used in high concentrations and heated to a temperature of at
least 60°C. However, it acts slowly and its action is limited to spores, yeasts, and fungi. Furthermore, using it at high
concentrations (e.g. 25 to 40%) has been frequently associated with surface degradations, specifically, paint and coatings used
in hospital settings.
The X-CID stabilized solution with a low hydrogen peroxide concentration is boosted by the addition of peracetic acid.
Therefore, it is less toxic for humans and less aggressive on equipment. It maintains surfaces while exceeding NF-T 72 281
standard requirements (Ed. 2009 and 2014) for all microorganisms, including spores, whose high resistance is well known. It is
compatible with surface, textile and electronic device materials.
Surface disinfection using the HPVPA procedure helps reinforce bio-cleaning. Because the active ingredient is evenly
distributed in a dry fog using our RHEA Compact and RHEA Titan units, it reaches all surfaces, even those that are difficult to
access: ceilings, the upper part of walls, light strips, under beds, tables or chairs.
The RHEA Compact uses the airinspace® HPVPA procedure (wide spectrum hydrogen peroxide based biocide boosted with
peracetic acid).
The RHEA Titan uses airinspace® HPVPA technology (wide spectrum hydrogen peroxide based biocide boosted with peracetic
acid).
Highly effective: Exceeds NF-T 72 281:2014 standard requirements: for all types of microorganisms: bacteria,
viruses, fungi, spores, tuberculosis and mycobacteria
Fast: contact time from 15 min
Can treat rooms up to 1600 m3
Protocols are preprogrammed
Security for use: Monitoring of the biocide quantity remaining in the tanks, light alerts for each step of the protocol
Optimized traceability: Integrated printer, NFC tag
Connected technology with eCHEM OX for automatic biocide purification at the end of the cycle
Hydrogen peroxide solution boosted with paracetic acid for use at room temperature.
Efficacy is superior to requirements of the NF-T 72 281 standard (Ed. 2009 and 2014)
No unnecessary or dangerous additives: silver cations, formaldehyde, essential oils, etc.
Maintains the surfaces
No residue after treatment
AIR QUALITY
HEPA-MD Technology
HEPA-MD technology combines HEPA filtration quality and microbial destruction (MD) technology using cold plasma,
without releasing toxic compounds.
The MIR stations and, more recently, the ISS take advantage of a multi-benefit air treatment technology: microorganism
destruction without release risk, broad spectrum of efficacy, low load loss, low energy consumption, and easy maintenance.
airinspace® has chosen to develop and integrate this technology in its air treatment products for the hospital environment.
A 4-level reactor.
PlasmerisationTM: Microbial destruction
Over time, the PLASMAIR® Guardian has become the benchmark for hematology departments,
marrow transplants and, more generally, all types of departments receiving high risk patients.
The PLASMAIR™ C2010 does not take up any space on the floor and is
installed on the ceiling.
