Check the associated concrete ,waterproofing ,and
protection works are completed and approved by the
company for the particular backfilling area.
Verify the excavated area to be backfilling is clear from
1.Preliminary debris and form work materials
check Ensure the backfilling shall not commence earlier than
7 days after concrete placement or until concrete has
achieved 60% of design strength or more.
Conform that the fill materials is approved and the test
results are complies with the specifications..

Check the thickness of layer shall not exceed 200mm

Check degree of compaction (FDT) for backing area-

(95%according to modified proctor test)
Check the required test for each layer of 200mm
compacted fill
Check the required level and elevation

Ensure that the bedding material to be required depth
compacted in trenches for services installed and
inspected

Ensure avoiding damage to waterproofing membrane

Ensure the backfilling is complete and the area is

cleaned & tidy
