Current Outreach Events include several spiritual development events designed to present opportunities to
explore methods and practices furthering spiritual development. The events include an Annual Spiritual
Wellness Fair and a Lenten Time of Quiet “Unplugged”. Other events are offered throughout the year.

Current Missions: Salvation Army Soup Kitchen 6 -8 times a year, Special Collection bi-monthly and ongoing collection of
food items and plastic market bags for the SICM Emergency Food Pantry, Ongoing collection of personal care items for
Bethesda House and the City Mission, Special Collection bi-monthly for Heifer International (an organization that
supplies seeds, plants, trees and farm animals to those in need throughout the world. When the first harvest is made, or
after the birth of the first animals recipients pass on seeds or animals to another family in need) , annually Blankets of
Love are purchased as Mother’s Day memorials, honoring mothers and/or grandmothers by church members and
friends, annually Tools of Hope are purchased as Father’s Day memorials, honoring fathers and/or grandfathers by
church members and friends, items for school kits, cleaning buckets and health kits are collected by and from
congregants and assembled by the Missions Team for persons effected by natural disasters, cookies are collected twice
a year and donated to St. Joseph’s Place, a drop-in center for homeless, lonely and needy people.

Prayer Blankets
Faith has an on-going prayer blanket ministry. These fleece blankets, embroidered with a set
of praying hands and the person's name, make wonderful gifts to those who are sick or going
through rough times. They serve as a reminder of God's love and that others are praying for
them.
