EXPERIENCE
ATLAS Experiment
Research Assistant September 2015 - Present
○␣ Worked with 3k+ member collaboration of international researchers at CERN
○␣ Made precision measurements of vector bosons and top quark pairs produced in association with bottom quark pairs
(V + bb and tt + bb).
○␣ Key contributor to the development and handling of bayesian likelihood fitting software, as well as the derivation of
systematics with bootstrapping method for the V + bb analysis.
○␣ Employed boosted decision tree for tt + bb analysis. Duties included: pre-processing of data, testing and training, and
optimization of hyper-parameters.
○␣ Active involvement in phase-2 upgrade of ATLAS Inner Tracker (ITk)
○␣ Developed Region of Interest Photon Conversion Reconstruction algorithm. Resulted in significant reduction in CPU
usage (∼ 400 times faster) with no degradation in performance.
○␣ Active contributor to development of ATHENA tracking performance package
State University of New York
Teaching Assistant September 2013 - May 2015
○␣ Taught introductory physics labs and recitation sections
