Re: Super Reader

Dear Colleagues,

At our faculty conference, on September 10, we will be talking about a new social-emotional
program call Super Reader. Super Reader is not a separate program, so it will be integrated into
our balanced literacy program.

Super Reader focuses on creating an environment that make students comfortable in

classrooms by instilling the “7” Strengths in daily literacy lessons. These are:

 Belonging
 Curiosity
 Friendship
 Kindness
 Confidence
 Courage
 Hope
