1. Interpret in your own words what is globalization and the approaches to

globalization?

Answers: The process by which businesses or other organizations develop

international influence or starting on and international scale. Approaches of
contemporary globalization is multi dimensional, and there for it can be conflex in
its definition it’s a method where all political, economic, cultural and social
activities start operating at a international level.

2. Describe the emergence of global economic, political , social and cultural

system?

Answers: Globalization has grown due to advance in transportation

communication technology. With the increased global interactions comes the
growth of international trade, ideas and culture globalization is primarily an
economic process of interaction and integration that’s associated with social and
cultural aspect.

3. Analyze the various Contemporary drivers of globalization?

Answes: Techonogical advancement drives globalization by making it easier for

people, goods and ideas to move across borders, International trade drives
globalization because it encourages and strengthens investment drives
globalization by increasing economic intergration.
4. List at least three issues confronting trade and commerce?

Answers: International Trade and Investment

Selling more of our goods and services around the world is crucial to creating
American jobs, helping small business ,and keeping the United State ahead of its
global competitors. The Chamber wants to negotiate trade and investment
agreements that are fair and accountable ,that create a level playing field and
that put American families and workers first. Trade policy can and must benefit all
consumer and businesses,
including small businesses, which represent 98 of all U.S exporters.

LABOR
The United States Economy is supported by a highly innovation, creative,
productive, and various workforce. The jobs that make up the economy and
lead healthy, comfortable , and fulfilling lives. To keep the economy vibrant and
to continue to create opportunity for workers.

NATIONAL AND CYBER SECURITY

Economic security and national security go hand in hand .We must have one in
order to protect the other .The Chamber advocates for protecting vital U.S assets
both physical and digital to ensure the safety and security of our citizens and
promote the free flow of commerce and information that drives our economy and
enriches our society.

5.List at least three issues in relation to Filipino and the Philippines?

Answer: AIR POLLUTION

Due to industrial waste and automobiles , Manila suffers from air pollution,
affecting 98% of the population. Annually the air pollution causes more than
4,000 deaths. The Manila is polluted district due to open dump sites and
industrial waste .

CLIMATE CHANGE
Two of the most pressing environmental issues impacting the Philippines is
climate change. As an island country located in the South Asia Pacific region ,
the Philippines is extremely vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. Some of
these impacts include increased frequency and severity of natural disasters, sea
level rise extreme rainfall global warming resources shortages and environmental
degration.

DEFORESTATION
Over the course of the 20th century the forest cover of the Philippines dropped
from 70 percent down to 20 percent . I total 46 species are endangered and 4
were already eradicate completely. 3.2 percent of total rainforest has been left.
Based on an analysis of land use pattern maps and a road map an estimated
9.8 million has of forests were lost in the Philippines from 1934 to 1988. Logging
occurs in the Philippines.
