SECTION – B: LT BUSDUCTS, RAISNG MAINS AND TAP-OFF BOXES
All installation works should be as complete and as directed by Employer /
Empolyer's representative. The rate includes necessary connected minor civil works
if required and necessary supports as required at site. No extra payment will be
made for the same.
LT BUSDUCTS

Design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 2500 Amps 50kA indoor sandwich type
aluminium 4Pole busduct and with suitable support from ceiling as per the detailed specification
enclosed. The busduct shall have 2Rnus of external body earth conductor along full length of
busduct. The busduct should be with straight run, 90 deg. horizontal and Vertical bends.,
busbar trunking fittings (elbow, tees, end End (Cable) feed Box, end covers, horizontal fixing
devices,etc.) The horizontal runs of busbar trunking system shall be supported by hangers at
every 2 metre. Vertical runs of busbar trunking system shall be supported by hangers not more
than 4m apart. The busduct shall run from transfromer secondary to MDB/MPCC and DG synch.
panel to MDB/ MPCC panel. The bus duct shall be fabricated as per the detailed specification
enclosed.

enclosed. The busduct shall have 2Rnus of external body earth conductor along full length of
busduct. The busduct should be with straight run, 90 deg. horizontal and Vertical bends.,
busbar trunking fittings (elbow, tees, end End (Cable) feed Box, end covers, horizontal fixing
devices,etc.) The horizontal runs of busbar trunking system shall be supported by hangers at
every 2 metre. Vertical runs of busbar trunking system shall be supported by hangers not more
than 4m apart. The busduct shall run from MDB to APFCR panel. The bus duct shall be
fabricated as per the detailed specification enclosed.

suitable for sandwich type 4pole aluminium bus duct including all accessories. (it will operate in
case of phase change over is required as per site condition) (RYB+N=1 set)

RAISING MAIN AND TAP OFF BOXES

Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 4P, 4Wire, 2000A aluminium condutor
sandwich type Rising Mains with 50X10 mm (2) External aluminium earthing, Plug in Point at
every 500mm, Fire Barriers at every Floor Crossing : Indoor : 36kA
The product shall be based on Temp. rise & not on current density and as per techical
specification and drawing. (For Block- A & B Power)
2000A End Feed Unit with 36kA 4P Fixed type ACB with LSIG releases
2000A flexible joints suitable for above said sandwich type 4P aluminium rising main at end
