1. Let ABC be a triangle and let D, E, F be the feet of altitudes respectively on BC, CA, AB.
Let the line parallel through D to EF meet AB at X and AC at Y . Let EF ∩ BC = T and
let M be the midpoint of BC. Prove that T, M, X, Y are concyclic.
2. The point D on the altitude AA1 of an acute triangle ABC is such that 6 BDC = 90◦ , H
is the orthocentre of ABC. A circle with diameter AH is constructed. Prove that the tangent
drawn from B to this circle is equal to BD.
3. (APMO 2013, Problem 5) Let ABCD be a quadrilateral inscribed in a circle ω, and let P
be a point on the extension of AC such that P B and P D are tangent to ω. The tangent at C
intersects P D at Q and the line AD at R. Let E be the second point of intersection between
AQ and ω. Prove that B, E, R are collinear.
4. (Taiwan 2014 TST1, Problem 3) Let ABC be a triangle with incenter I, and suppose the
incircle is tangent to CA and AB at E and F . Denote by G and H the reflections of E and F
over I. Let Q be the intersection of BC with GH, and let M be the midpoint of BC. Prove
that IQ and IM are perpendicular.
5. Let ABCD be a cyclic quadrilateral. The angle bisectors of angles BAD, ABC meet at E.
A line is drawn through E parallel to CD. It intersects AD at L and BC at M . Prove that
LM = AL + BM .
6. (2014 Serbia EGMO TST P3) The incircle of the triangle ABC touches the side BC at point
D. Let I be the center of the incircle k, M the midpoint of side BC, and K the orthocenter of
triangle AIB. Prove that KD is perpendicular to IM .
7. (Bosnia and Herzegovina 2018 TST) In acute triangle ABC (AB < AC) let D, E and F
be foots of perpedicular from A, B and C to BC, CA and AB, respectively. Let P and Q be
points on line EF such that DP ⊥ EF and BQ = CQ. Prove that 6 ADP = 6 P BQ.
8. (Traian Lălescu 1985, Grade IX, Test 2, Problem 3) Let ABC a triangle, and P 6= B, C be
a point situated upon the segment BC such that ABP and AP C have the same perimeter. M
represents the middle of BC, and I, the center of the incircle of ABC. Prove that IM k AP.
9. (Iberoamerican 2018 Problem 2) Let ABC be a triangle such that 6 BAC = 90◦ and
AB = AC. Let M be the midpoint of BC. A point D 6= A is chosen on the semicircle with
diameter BC that contains A. The circumcircle of triangle DAM cuts lines DB and DC at E
and F respectively. Show that BE = CF .
10. Let ABC be a triangle inscribed in a circle (O). Suppose that AH is the altitude and the
line AO intersects BC at D. The circumcircle of ADC intersects the circumcircle of AHB at
E. The tangent at A of (O) meets BC at I. Prove that IA = IE.
11. Given ∆ABC inscribed (O) with altitudes AD, CF . A circle which has the center lies on
AO and pass through C, F intersect DF at F 0 . Prove DF = DF 0 .
12. (All-Russian Olympiad 2018) Let 4ABC be an acute-angled triangle with AB < AC.
Let M and N be the midpoints of AB and AC, respectively; let AD be an altitude in this
triangle. A point K is chosen on the segment M N so that BK = CK. The ray KD meets the
circumcircle Ω of ABC at Q. Prove that C, N, K, Q are concyclic.
