Learning Objective : Application Letter
Communicative task: Identyfying features of application letters
Writing an application letter
Language forms : expressing abilities, inabilities and possibilities
Lexis : vocabularies related to technology and skills
Materials required: newspapers / magazines / text copies / white board

Procedure
Stage One : Recycle
Teacher recycles with the students the types of letters previously
studied in 3MS reviewing formats, purposes and some useful expressions

Eg : friendly letters, apology letters, invitations and even application


letters

Stage Two: The Reading Process


Step One: Pre- reading
S.R.O : To get students introduced to the topic of the reading passage
Teacher invites students to look at some ads on newspapers and magazines
