Visitors, welcome.
We hope you are blessed through worshiping with us today. Our host family
has prepared a meal to share and to visit with you in their home. In the
narthex, after the service, the hosts will introduce themselves and invite you.
 Today, Dr. David Murray will lead our worship services. Rev. L. Bilkes is
serving the Mitchell FRC today.
 Next Sunday, Dr. David Murray will preach for us for our morning
worship service and candidate Mr. Scott Dibbet will conduct the evening
service.
 The consistory conducted mutual moral censure in view of the Lord’s
Supper which we hope to celebrate, the Lord willing, November 14. The
preparatory service for the Lord’s Supper is scheduled for November 7.
 The Sunday School/Catechism classes (Beginners – 7 grade) Psalter

 Michigan Family Forum Voter’s Guides are now available at the back of
the narthex. Please remember to vote on November 2, 2010 especially
since there are two very critical races for justice of the Michigan Supreme
Court. If you have any questions about the voter’s guides, please contact
Heidi Pronk.

 Baptized members or visitors who wish to attend confession of faith
classes are asked to call Pastor L.W. Bilkes (616-458-3250). He intends to
start these classes next Lord's Day, the 31st after the morning service.
 A new devotional published by our FRCNA youth and education
committee is available in the Narthex and is highly recommended by your
consistory. This devotional, A Message for You, has been written with the
12-15 year old youth in mind. If you would like one or more copies please
help yourself from the book corner and place the appropriate amount in an
envelope to cover the cost.

Snack: Karel. Young people, 9 grade and older are encouraged to attend.
The meetings last until approximately 9 PM. We are studying Demolishing
Strongholds which will address many issues that young Christians may be
facing in today's society and how to defend creation.
October 26 (Tuesday) 9:30 AM Ladies Bible Study. Coffee is at 9.30.
Lesson starts at 10. Nursery is provided. Women of all ages are welcome.
We will be studying Micah 1; Q & A. on pages 33 & 34
October 27 (Wednesday) 7 PM Boys & Girls Club. Girls have gym night.
We will begin collecting for Mel Trotter Mission.
October 27 (Wednesday) 7 PM Fellowship meeting. Dr. Jerry Bilkes will
be speaking on Christ in Matthew.
October 30 (Saturday) 3:30 - 7 PM Annual Reformation Day gathering at
Chris & Becky Karel’s home; 5920 Chicago Dr. Hudsonville, MI. Please
RSVP to 667-9105 if planning to attend so we know how much food we will

October 30 (Saturday) 7 PM Young Adult book study. We will be studying
the book “What is a Healthy Church Member?” We invite you to come and
to enjoy an evening of discussion and fellowship as young adults.
November 2 (Tuesday) 7 PM Dorcas Guild Meeting. Boxes for Operation
Christmas Child are in the narthex. Please leave your full boxes on the
table downstairs or in the kitchen. Deadline: November 14. Any questions

Mr. Adrian Stoutjesdyk, the General Secretary of TBS Canada, will speak.
Word & Deed Dinner - You are invited by the local Word & Deed
organizing committee to dinner on Friday, November 19, at Bethany URC,
5401 Byron Center Ave. The keynote speaker is the Nigerian Ambassador
to Canada, Prof. Iyorwuese Hagher. Nigeria is a country that is 50%
Christian and 50% Muslim. Prof. Hagher will speak on the need for a God
centered approach to bringing aid to Africa. Tickets are just $10 and can be
