At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to
a. Identify the elements of narrative present in “2012” film by Ronald Emmerich;
b. Compose an essay about what will they do when the world ends;
c. Reflect on the message of the film about the environment.

Direction: Identify the word that fits the theme of each four photos presented.
C. Lesson Proper
 Pre-Viewing
The teacher will present a picture quotation and asks the students about their ideas they
form out it.

 Viewing Proper
The students will watch the film “2012” – a 2009 American science fiction disaster film
directed and co-written by Ronald Emmerich.

Guide Questions:

2. Do you remember a particular scene throughout the film? What is its significance/
importance?
3. What theme underlies the plot?
4. What does the film show about the people and their values?
5. Which part of the film resemble reality?

“At the end of the World.”
