-Students will be able to journal in relation to their participation in a table read of A Streetcar

MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT


-A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams

-A large table

-Enough chairs for students


PREPARATION AND LOGISTICAL CONSIDERATIONS

-The table read will take at least 2 classes to complete

-There are not enough roles for each student to have a role for the entirety of the play

-Students will therefore be split into characters by act

-The way that students are split will be dependent on the number on students

-Set up tables in a circular formation

-Precast students into roles (considering students who may be more outgoing/shyer etc)

PROCEDURE
Introduction Time Assessment
-Ensure that the students are settled around a large table set up in a circular -Instructor will look
