Dear DE Otoc:

The MinSAAD Project Management Office (MPMO) is on its full-swing of implementing subprojects
which will highly benefit our farmers in the settlement areas covered by the project. And as our co-
implementor in this project, we extremely appreciate your continuing effort in realizing these
infrastructure subprojects in North Cotabato Settlement Areas of the project.

As part of our loan agreement with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), our funding agency
for this project, a contingency fund can be utilized to further reach our project targets. With this, MPMO,
together with our consultants, is recommending to include Purok 5, Barangiran-Bay-ang-Makikilo Farm-
to-Market Road located in Alamada, North Cotabato in the pipeline of subprojects which will be
deliberated in the 16th Subproject Approval Committee (SAC) Meeting and 6th Project Coordinating
Council (PCC) Meeting to be convened before September 2018 ends given this contingency fund is now
available for allocation.

Based on the series of technical discussions and revalidation activities with our MinSAAD Infrastructure
Technical Personnel and Consultants in August 2018, it was agreed that resurvey works will be done by
your good office to update the Detailed Engineering Drawings and Program of Works of the said FMR.

Anent to this, we would like to follow-up on the results of the survey and the final DED and POW of
said FMR to be submitted to our office for review and evaluation by our technical personnel and
consultants. We would appreciate if you could provide us the copies of the documents on or before
September 12, 2018 to give us ample amount of review and evaluation time.

Please do not hesitate to contact our technical personnel to assist you in expediting your preparation of
these technical documents.

We appreciate your continued effort to facilitate rural development for our agrarian reform beneficiaries.

FOR 6TH PCC MEETING & JOINT CONCURRENCE

As part of our loan agreement with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), our funding agency
for this project, a contingency fund can be utilized to further reach our project targets. And thus, MPMO,
together with our consultants, is recommending to include Cabadiangan-Matampay-Purok 4-Purok 8
Farm-to-Market Road in the pipeline of subprojects which will be deliberated in the 6th Project
Coordinating Council (PCC) Meeting to be convened in the second week of September 2018 given this
contingency fund is now available for allocation.

While it was already presented in the 14th SAC in Davao City, we would like request your concurrence
together with DPWH on the final Program of Works which will be presented to the PCC for approval.
Otherwise, should there be a revised proposal from DPWH given some costs in detailed unit price
analysis have changed over time, a counter proposal must be submitted to MPMO as soon as possible so
that MPMO would still be able to review and evaluate any variation from the program of works.

Anent to this, we would like to request your office to forward the attached letter to DPWH Bukidnon II
District Engineering Office for their immediate action.

Please be advised that the respective proponent shall also submit the official and signed DED and POW,
Joint Concurrence, Certification on the RROW, and ECC Certification which are documents necessary
for the presentation to the SAC for approval.
