days after approval from the Senate Standing

REQUIREMENTS
A student is only qualified to be awarded a postgraduate
degree/diploma/certificate after fulfilling the following conditions:
a) Obtained the total Credits for Graduation as determined by the
curriculum of the program with academic standing of Good Pass
(KB);
b) Pass all the courses required by the program and pass
thesis/dissertation (if required);
c) Paid all fees;
d) Fulfilled other requirements that
stated in Postgraduate Academic
Rules and Regulations

DISSERTATION
• “Taught Course and Research Study” refers to postgraduate studies implemented by a
combination of taught course and research.
• One of the requirement for graduation (Taught Course and Research Study programme).
• The research component (dissertation) is normally carried out after completed all taught
courses required by the curriculum of the program
• Supervised by at least ONE of the graduate staff.

A master by research candidate may submit his/her thesis for viva-voce provided that he/she produced at least one (1)
accepted or published publication from journal article, conference proceeding or book chapter.

Doktor Falsafah Pelajar Ijazah Kedoktoran boleh mengemukakan tesis untuk peperiksaan lisan (viva-voce) dengan syarat mengemukakan
Doctor of Phylosophy sekurang-kurangnya satu (1) penerbitan artikel dalam jurnal atau dua (2) artikel dalam prosiding konferen berindeks yang
telah diterima atau diterbitkan dalam SCOPUS/ERA atau WOS.
