RESPECT FOR PARENTS AND TEACHERS

To the Ladies and Gentlement, the jury we anttended, the attendees...my happy friends.
Thank God, let us pray for the presence of Allah SWT, almighty, and greetings, hopefully it will
be poured out on our Lord Prophet Muhammad SAW peace be upon him.
Ladies and Gentlements
The theme I will present today is respecting both parents and teachers. One of the greatest
worship in islam after abiding by Allah SWT is to serve both parents. Devoting to both parents
is the foundation of a servant to gain the blessing of God Almighty. As well as forms of
gratitude to Allah SWT, as well as to humans. A faith and islam will not be perfect, if not
accompanied by both parents. Subhanallah... this shows how important it is to do good to
parents. As in the surah annisa verse 36

“worship Allah and do not associate Him with anything and do good to two mothers”
Ladies and Gentlements
Islam strongly advocates serving both parents. Even islam makes worshiping the two orangtas
as a means of reaching the paradise of Allah SWT. It is very loss and harm, if a muslim finds
his parents still alive but cannot use his parents to enter heaven, because he is not filial to
him.
Conscious or not, humans will never live happily without filial piety. The success of a person
both in the world and in the end cannot be separated from the role of both parents.
It is really not too much for Rasulullah to describe that:
“Allah’s willingness lies in the willingness of your mother. And God’s wrath lies in the wrath
of your father”.
Then how respect parents. Among them carrying out his orders, pleasing him, and always
praying for him.
Ladies and Gentlements
If we talk about the problem of science, education, it means that it is not right from the role
of a teacher. The task of a teacher is not an easy task. And it should not be done by everyone,
because his job is an educator is considered a noble and special task. Therefor we must be
grateful for the sacrifice and sevice of teachers who have educated and guided us to become
better human beings.
Science cannot be obtained perfectly except with thw character of the students fun fowards
the teacher. Because the teacher’s enthusiasm for students will help the process of
absorption of knowledge so that Imam Al-Munawi in Faidh Al-Qodir (3/23) states that the
student’s disagreement with the teacher reflects the height of the muriud’s progress. His
submission to the teacher is precisely his blessing and honor.
O God forgive our teachers and love them
That is all that I can say. Hopefully we can be classified as children who are pious and devoted
