Round (R1, R2…etc)

Instructions within *..* indicate a repeating pattern e.g. “*sc, inc* x 6” means you will sc, inc, sc, (mailto:littleyarntales@hotmail.com)
inc, sc, inc, sc, inc, sc, inc, sc, inc.

My patterns are written in short/are abbreviated so for example if you see sc 12 this means do
1 sc in each of the next 12 st, or if you see inc 3 this means to increase (do 2 sc) in each of the
next 3 st

() - indicates the total number of sts for that round

note: this pattern is crocheted in continuous rounds so unless I’ve noted otherwise you do not need
to join at the end of each round . I Also suggest using a stitch marker to mark the last stitch of each
round.

You will need:

Worsted Weight Yarn in any colour (I used some random red scrap yarn that I had lying around)

2.0mm hook

Yarn needle

stitch marker

stuffing

Scissors

PATTERN:

Part 1 – domes (make 2)

R1: Sc 6 in magic ring (6 st)
R2: Inc x 6 (12 st)
R3: *sc, inc* x 6 (18 st)
R4: *sc 2, inc* x 6 (24 st)
R5-8: Sc 24 around (24 st)

For first dome only: sl st, invisible finish off, cut yarn leaving tail.
For second dome: DO NOT sl st, DO NOT finish off, and DO NOT cut the yarn!

Using the tail from dome 1, sew to stitches 12 and 13 of dome 2 – this should leave 22 stitches on
each dome!

From here on continue around both domes, starting on dome 2 where the working yarn is still
attached:

Part 2 – the point of the heart

R9: Sc 11 on dome 2, sc 22 on dome 1, sc 11 on dome 2 (44 st)

R10: Dec, sc 20, dec, sc 20 (42 st)
R11: Dec, sc17 dec 2, sc 17, dec (38 st)
R12:sc 17, dec, sc 17, dec (36 st)
R13: *sc 4, dec* x 6 (30 st)
R14: *sc 3, dec* x 6 (24 st)

R15: *sc 2, dec* x 6 (18 st)

Stuff firmly

R16: Sc 18 around (18 st)

R17: *sc, dec* x 6 (12 st)
R18: Sc 12 around (12 st)
R19: Dec x 6 (6 st)
R20: *sc, dec* x2 (4 st)

Fasten off and hide tail inside the stuffing.
