Step 1 - Purposely Assess & Set Goals

-Comprehensive Objective Questionnaires - gather info before initial visit


1. Define Client Level each with different approach & nutrition advise
Level 1- completely new to eating well (what is a protein)
Level 2 - some understanding of good nutrition, yet need guidance, planning, direction
Level 3 - general eat the right food, right amount at right time (atheletes, check out my
spreadsheet/plan)
2. Limiting factor - what is holding them back
Food knowledge (what is protein)

4 Questionnaires + 4 Key Assessments


- 3 Day Dietary Record - Representative sample of what the client is eating
- Readiness for Change Questionnaire - How ready your client is to do the work necessary for change
- Kitchen Makeover Questionnaire - Info about the client’s nutritional resources at home
- Social Support Questionnaire - support environment or lack of, at home/work
- Baseline Vitals, Biometric analysis/Body Composition (BMI, BIA, Body Fat)
- Initial Recovery Assessment - stress & energy levels, appetite
- Baseline Blood tests - physiologic biomarkers (CV, Hormones, Thyroid, Renal, LFT, General chem)
- Baseline Visual Assessment - before after photos

Step 2 – Advise

Transform assessment into actionable plan (least psychological resistance for the client, yield the most
physiological return, in the shortest amount of time)

Basic supplement – Omega 3 + Multi – easy, low resistance, high compliance

Level-specific individualized advises – such educating food groups, food portions, to food timing &
supplements

Meal-plan are only for those who already have a good foundational knowledge of what to eat and when
to eat

Step 3 – Measure

1. Track 2 key metrics

Behavior-based – nutrition & supplement compliance – things patients control over

Outcome-based stats – BMI, Body Fat, Bloodwork, Photos

2. Achieve compliance – how to get them to comply, ask why (time, difficulty, self-esteem, others) –
make it simple

3. Achieve results with outcome based stats

4. Refocus and repeat

Step 4 – Adjust

1. Plan A good – repeat, if not  Plan B
