This software is designed to run with Internet Explorer 6.0, Netscape 7 or later
and Firefox 1.x.
Instructions
-------------------
1. If your system does not support Autorun, then please explore the CD contents
click on 'RPOP.exe' to start.
2. MSWord Viewer ("wdviewer2003.exe" and "wd97vwr32.exe") can be installed from
the Software folder of the CD.
3. QuickTime player is required to view the video clips. If your computer does n
ot already have QuickTime installed, the latest version can be downloaded from h
ttp://www.apple.com/quicktime.
4. Acrobat Reader ("AdbeRdr70_enu_full.exe" and "Acrobat5.exe") can be installed
from the Software folder of the CD.
5. IE 6.0 can be downloaded at 'http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/de
fault.asp'.

This software is designed to run with Safari 1.x or later and Firefox 1.x. Refer
to the help files for problems specific to the browser.
Instructions
------------------
1. Click on the CD icon that appears on your desktop, then select RPOP to open t
he application.
2. QuickTime player is required to view the video clips. If your computer does n
ot already have QuickTime installed, the latest version can be downloaded from h
ttp://www.apple.com/quicktime.
3. Acrobat Reader ("AdbeRdr70_enu_full.dmg") can be installed from the Software
folder of the CD.

Some of the content in this product is available in RTF format. To view these co
ntents you will need a copy of MS Word/MS Office or any other product that can r
ead the RTF file format.
(NOTE: You can also use other File Viewer applications, to view RTF files.)

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1) Do I need to have an Internet connection to run this program?
No. The program is designed to run entirely from the CD-ROM, independent of the
Internet.
2) When I launch the application, I get messages after Netscape starts. What do
I do?
TCP/IP is required to run any browser-based application. TCP/IP is included with
Windows NT. To add TCP/IP, go to Network in the Control Panel, click the Add bu
tton, click the protocol option and click Add. Under Manufacturers, select Micro
soft, and under Network Protocols, select TCP/IP and click OK. Click OK again, a
nd Windows will start to install TCP/IP. Once, finished you must restart your co
mputer.
3) What should I do if my ISP starts to dial out when I launch the application?
This application will run with or without an Internet connection. If your ISP be
gins to dial out, cancel this and the program will still run. Many ISPs will aut
omatically dial out when a browser is launched; you may be able to cancel this o
ption in the properties menu for your ISP.
4) I see other product images and files when I run the product. What should I do
?
If current information does not appear in your browser, you may need to clear yo
ur cache.
Internet Explorer:
Windows: Select Tools > Internet Options > General tab and click Delete Files In
the Temporary Internet files area.
Netscape:
Windows: Select Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Cache and click Disk Cache and s
elect the option as Once per session.
Firefox:
Windows: Select Tools > Options > Privacy > Cache Option > Click Clear button.
Macintosh: Select Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cache Option > Click Clear b
utton.
Safari:
Macintosh: Select Safari > Empty Cache Option > Click Empty button.
Known Issues
------------------------------------------------------
1. When using Netscape or Firefox under Windows, clicking on any of the resource
s (.RTF) opens a blank browser page as well, often covering the resources docume
nt.
2. To access the files directly go to the root directory of the CD and open the
folder "Maxey". In that folder are the folders with the Suggested Home Maintenan
ce ("SHM"), Archie Animations ("Videos"), and Rehabilitation Guidelines for SLAP
Repair ("RehabGuide.pdf").
3. When using Safari, clicking on any of the resources displays the folder where
the MS Word document are available. Additionally, opens a blank browser page.
4. To get the program to launch in your default browser,
Macintosh Users
Control-click the Home.htm file, select "Get Info", and then select the default
browser from the "Opens With" drop-down menu.
Windows Users
Shift-Right-click the Home.htm file, select "Open With", and then select the def
ault browser from the "Choose Program ..." menu.
5. If Active Content warning is displayed while running the product, please do t
he following:
On Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab > in Security > Select 'Allow active
content from CDs to run on my Computer'.
6. While using Netscape 8, ensure that "Open requested Pop-ups in New Tab" optio
n is deselected. If not, select the Site Controls icon on the tab and deselect t
his option.
