This source written by Derya Kayıran and Birsen Bağçeci was researched at Kahramanmaras

Sutcu Imam University, School of Vocational Services, Department of Child Care Programme,

in Kahramanmaras, Turkey. The source was published in August of 2018 so it is still relevant.

The purpose of this research was to find out what values were most important to include in

preschools. Five values were ranked by The teachers from a scale of not important, slightly

important, moderately important, important and very important. The values were social

responsibility, generosity, collaboration, forehandedness and courage. This source is credible

because it is from The Journal of Education and Training Studies. The article is cited and shows

the studies throughout the text. This source is relevant for my research paper because it shows

the perspective of a teachers view of values being incorporated into pre-school. If a child does

not attend preschool would these values be taught? This source will help make my argument

deeper.

purpose of the documentary was to how important early childhood development is for all

children. This source is credible because Chris Boggiano holds degrees from West Point and

Stanford . This documentary is relevant for my paper because it shows that children who go to

preschool start life out strong even if they come from low-income areas.

This source written by a parenting coach by the name of Meghan Leahy is a great source for my

research paper. This source gives me the perspective of a new parent. It shows the potential pros

and cons of preschool. It is credible because it is questions asked by parents answered by a

parenting coach. Although it is a simple Q and A on the Washington Post it is extremely relevant

and needed for my paper.

“Preschool.” HealthyChildren.org,

www.healthychildren.org/English/ages-stages/preschool/Pages/default.aspx.

This source written by pediatricians came from the American Academy of Pediatrics. This article

shows how preschool helps with cognitive development in children. It also helps you when to

know if your child is ready for preschool. The audience for this website is parents. This source is

very useful and will be a great piece to get information for my research paper. This source is still

credible because it is The American Academy of Pediatrics. This source will be helpful while
