Commander, 75" Air Base Wing

Hill AFB, UT 84056
Dear Col. Eberlan,
Congratulations on the opening of the new Software Sustainment Center at Hill Air Force Base.
This new software facility will ensure that Hill is fully prepared to sustain the workload for the
F-22 Raptor and the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter and accommodate Hill’s substantial projected
growth. The state-of-the-art facility will provide vital capabilities for the Air Force to enhance
readiness and handle future challenges. It will be a critical asset to the U.S. Air Force and reflects
Hill’s central role in providing for the common defense of the United States.
Hill Air Force Base is an essential part of our national security apparatus, located in a prime
strategic location with the space and supporting infrastructure to test, maintain, and fly Hill's
‘leet all in the same place. The men and women of Hill Air Force Base are models of American
ingenuity, patriotism, and dedication at its very best. Hill’s reputation of service would not be
possible without the collaboration of servicemembers, strong civilian workforce, and robust
‘community support. We are proud to represent Hill Air Force Base knowing what it means to
both to Utah and to the country.
This new facility is a result of close collaboration between the State of Utah, the Air Force, and
eaders of the Utah business community. We are grateful for all the dedicated public servants and
private citizens for their hard work to make this project a reality. This effort is a prime example
of the innovations and solutions being delivered in Utah.
Sincerely,
