Application
The uni tronic™600 Detonators have a bar code printed on the
flag tag which contains the detonator’s unique ID. The user
scans this label to capture the ID and links it with a firing time
by using the convenient auto-increment timing function in the
Scanner. The uni tronic™600 system is surprisingly easy to
learn and to use, making it particularly applicable in small and
medium opencast coal, in the quarry & underground aggregate
industries, and in construction.

Description
The uni tronic™600 Electronic Blasting System offers one of
Orica’s exciting Next Generation technologies – uni
tronic™600. The product enables an increasing range of users
to experience the benefits of electronic blasting at an
economical price point.

• Blast Box 310 (with Bluetooth) / 310R (with wireless
Remote firing)
• Scanner 110 / 120 / 125
• Scanner 200, with on-bench, full-function testing of uni
tronic™600 detonators
Key Benefits
• The uni tronic™600 system is ideal for quarry operators
searching for effective means to reduce vibration during
blasting and to minimize the effect of operational or
regulatory constraints on output.
• In many cases, blast pattern expansion using the uni
tronic™600 system will mitigate or offset any cost

increased safety and security for all operators through
knowing the condition of every hole before a blast, and in
the use of specific, dedicated equipment to control,
program and fire the detonators.
• The uni tronic™600 detonator allows safe, on-bench
testing of detonators to ensure that every one of them is
ready to function at blasting time.
Recommendations for Use
uni tronic™600 detonators can only be tested, programmed
and fired using dedicated uni tronic™600 equipment. Do not
use any other programming or blasting equipment. Damage to
the legwire insulation is the most common cause of problems
with electronic blasting systems; exercise care and protect the
wires when loading and stemming holes.
