Welcome to the new season of rowing, it has been a welcome sight to see so
Calendar of Events many boys well organised in the first week of training and being at the boatshed
getting back into the swing of rowing.
October I watched with interest over the last 2 weeks to see the demolition of College
RSG Meeting 6th Hall. I thought as I watched just how easy and quick it is to demolish something
Conference Room 7pm , and conversely how hard and how long it takes to build something in its place.

Uniforms Year 8 Learn to Scull Day
Rowing is the ultimate team sport and as such it
would be good to make sure we look like a team All year 8s will be introduced to single sculls on
when we are training and competing. Maybe Saturday 17th October. We will take the boys via

Term 4 Selection Trials


Selection trails will take place at the
commencement of term 4 over the first 2 weeks
during normal training sessions. All boys should
be aware of the sculling trial days to ensure they
have an opportunity to be ranked according to
their ability.

Breakfast Payments
Year 10
Breakfast is provided for the boys at the shed
Scull Tuesday 13th am
Ergo Monday 12th pm each morning at a cost of $5 per day.
Parents can pay in advance for the term at
Year 9 $125 , which includes a small discount.
Scull Wednesday 14th am Cheques should be made payable to BBC
Tuesday 12th pm Ergo at the Gym Rowing.

The second round of trial will be held in the week If you are available to assist the breakfast
commencing 9th November. team are still looking for some assistance,
particularly for Thursday mornings. If you are
available to assist please contact one of the
breakfast team.
Rowing Support Group Committee
The Rowing Support Group provides parents with an opportunity to play an active role in one of their son's co-curricular activities.
The RSG organises a number of fundraising and social events to support the rowing program and strengthen the community spirit
at regattas and at the boatshed. If you can assist the RSG in anyway, or have enquiries about the rowing program, please contact
the Director of Rowing or any of the following committee members.
