fiziks fiziks provides coaching for competitive examinations like CSIR-
fiziks NET/JRF, GATE, IIT-JAM/IISc, JEST, TIFR and other MSc entrance like
JNU, BHU, DU, HCU, ISM Dhanbad, NISER, IISER. fiziks also provides
guidance for GRE (Physics) and public sector jobs like BARC, DRDO,
ONGC, ISRO etc.
fiziks was founded in December 2008 with a mission "Educate, Inspire,
Connect" by Atul Gaurav, Vivek K. Singh, S. Kumar, D.K. Singh and V. Sharma an alumnus of
IIT, JNU and BHU. Now fiziks is incorporated as AVS FIZIKS Private Limited Company
having corporate office at House Number 40 D, Jia Sarai, Hauz Khas, New Delhi-16.
Presently it is managed by Atul Gaurav and Vivek K. Singh.
Since its inception in 2008, fiziks has emerged as the leading institute in
coaching industry. Large number of our successful students and top rankers in CSIR-
NET/JRF, GATE, IIT-JAM/IISc, JEST, TIFR and other MSc entrance exams bear the testimony

Atul Gaurav
He has completed his post graduation in Physics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, (J.N.U), Delhi . He teaches Quantum
Mechanics, Classical Mechanics, and Thermal & Statistical Physics. He is teaching physics since 2006 and presently a full
time faculty at fiziks.
Vivek K. Singh
He has completed MTech in Opto-electronics and Optical Communication from Indian Institute of Technology, (IIT-D),
Delhi and MSc Physics from Banaras Hindu University (B.H.U). He teaches Electromagnetic Theory, Electronics and
Nuclear Physics. He is teaching at graduate and postgraduate level since 2003 and presently a full time faculty at fiziks.
S. Kumar
He has completed MTech in Solid State Physics from Indian Institute of Technology, (IIT-D), Delhi and MSc Physics from
GNDU Amritsar. He teaches Solid State Physics, Atomic and Molecular Physics, Waves and Optics and Particle Physics.
He is teaching since 2007 and also involved in scienti c research.

Specialised Faculty for Each Topic

We have a team of highly experienced and quali ed faculty. Each teacher has been teaching the same topic for a long
period of time. The classroom teaching is completely based on exam pattern.

Concept Building
Each concept is introduced with great clarity supported by useful derivations, then different types of examples
relating to the concept are discussed. Finally advanced level questions related to the concept are discussed.

Study Material and Practice Set

Our study material is meticulously designed which includes a large number of examples and sufficient practice set
with detailed solutions. The study material is designed such that each concept is revised and the concept become fully
ingrained in the mind of students.

Assignments
For homework, students are given assignments relating to the concept discussed in the class. Assignments contain
advance level problems and solutions. After solving assignments, concepts are further revised and there is great
enhancement of problem solving ability.

Doubt Classes
Classroom doubts can be cleared in three ways:
v Students can clear their doubts with faculty just after the class.
v Students can also clear their doubts by taking appointment with concerned faculty.
v If there is common doubt to a group of students, then they can call for separate
doubt classes (revision class) by informing the management.

Test Series
Test Series is the important process for success in any competitive exam. Test series at fiziks is designed in a way that a
student can revise the whole syllabus frequently. It also help student to increase accuracy and time management.

The correspondence material for CSIR NET/JRF, IIT-JAM & JEST exam includes
1. Meticulously designed complete study material based on syllabus of Physics & Physical Sciences.
2. There is separate booklet for each topic.
3. The approach is to rst develop basic understanding of each topic by explaining the concepts and solving
problems based on the same concept. Then tricky and competition based problems are discussed.
4. After completion of each topic there will be set of objective questions (with answers) for practice.
5. Solutions of old question paper (minimum ve years) will be provided.
6. All India Test Series (five full length test papers) is the integral part of the program. Solutions of the test
series will be provided.
7. Students can clear their doubt via email. Students can take personal guidance/ telephonic discussion with
concerned faculty only after giving prior information to management.
Fee for CSIR-NET/GATE/JEST program is Rs. 9,000 (Including GST).
Fee for IIT-JAM/JEST/Other MSc Entrance program is Rs. 7,000 (Including GST).

The institute has well equipped counselling room to

Library
The institute's library is a well equipped with hundreds of
books, two well furnished reading rooms offering dailies,
periodicals and journals, one for the students and the
other for the teachers. fiziks also provides online library on
our website which is very useful to students to get instant
access from anywhere. Our virtual library is also well
equipped with hundreds of books on different topics.

Hostels
Several private hostels within walking distance from the
fiziks institute are available, which provide separate
accommodation for male and female students. Please note
that it is not necessary to live in hostel.
Most of the students can find accommodation easily on
their own. However, if required fiziks staff may help and
guide you to get suitable accommodation. Moreover the
responsibility to accommodation is not taken by fiziks.
There are hundreds of private mess, food facilities for the
students on monthly basis. Students may choose according
to their choice.

The normal lodging and fooding charges are 7500 (approx.) per month for each students.
