Chateau St. Cosme is the leading producer in Gigondas and one of the finest in the Rhone Valley. The chateau is also the
oldest estate in Gigondas, with a history dating back to 1416. The current owner Louis Barruol's ancestors bought the estate
in 1570. Barroul is a firm believer in the quality in Gigondas and produces several single-vineyard wines that explore that
village's different terroirs as well as running a small micro-negociant arm making wines from the northern Rhone. The
domaine includes some of the oldest vines in the southern Rhone with several parcels over 100 years old. The vineyards
have been farmed organically since the 1970s and Barruol has been following biodynamic practices since January 2010.
Unusually he does not de-stem the grapes for any of the domaine's wines and neither filters nor fines before bottling. At
Saint Cosme Little James isÿthe wine of freedom. The Solera is getting more and more complex year after year. With the
current vintage, the solera gains a new element without changing its style. This wine recalls the ancient times when the
wine merchants would make wines having only one target: pleasure. . Non Vintage 100% Grenache : Louis Barruol believes
this is an ideal wine for discovering the typicity of Grenache from the southern Rhône. The wine combines a broad array of
varietal Grenache traits: softness, red fruit, and vibrancy with a dash of power, length, and structure. Aromas and flavors of
cherries, strawberry compote, and gingerbread.

Mendoza Province is Argentina’s most important winemaking region with approximately 167,704 hectares (414,405 acres) of
vineyards, accounting for 70% of the country’s Wine production. Within the Mendoza appellation there are distinct sub-
appellations, legally recognized as “Indicaciones Geográficas” (IGs). Through extraordinary diversity in soil quality, altitude,
and climate, Mendoza’s sub-appellation/IGs are essential in defining the terroir of Argentine wine. Wines labeled from a
particular appellation/IG must be sourced 100% from vineyards in the IG.
Tasting Notes
The Catena Cabernet Franc Appellation El Cepillo presents a purple color with red ruby tones. The nose offers elegant
aromas of spices, and fresh herbs as thyme and rosemary, red berries, cassis and raspberries, with layers of cedar. The
mouthfeel is full and rich with cassis, raspberries flavors and notes of black pepper and oregano . The finish is bright and
fresh with finely grained tannins.
Food Pairing
This versatile wine is fantastic paired with rich meat dishes such as stews and braises, Latin dishes with heat and a little kick
such as enchiladas or moles and lamb dishes and tomato based pasta and sauces.

Quinta de la Rosa’s Tawny Port is unique in that it comes from A graded grapes all grown on the Quinta. Most other tawny
blends come from further down the river closer to Regua where there is higher rainfall and most grapes are B to D quality so
the resulting port tends to be less concentrated. Some of our tawny is still made in the traditional way — trodden in granite
lagares. through rapid aging in small, old oak 550 liter pipes (or barrels) to give an aged appearance and flavor. It is blended
from our stocks of Port to give this young tawny its characteristic style which will be the same from year to year. As with all
la Rosa products, this Tawny is bottled at La Rosa, allowing us to ensure quality from to bottle. Unlike most port shippers, all
products are stored and bottled in the Douro (at La Rosa and not Porto), allowing full traceability and ensuring quality from
grape to bottle.

Our Tawny Port exhibits a nuttiness and a complexity not often found in these types of tawnies. Compared with the Ruby, the
Tawny is much paler in color and lighter in style. As always, La Rosa’s house style is slightly drier at the finish than most.
There should be no confusion between this Tawny port and our old fine 10 year “Tonel No. 12”. It should be consumed within
2 to 3 years of bottling.
