    Call for Proposals from Muralists

    Visit Macon is calling muralists to submit proposals for a public mural project. One artist will be
    selected to produce a mural on the back exterior wall of the Visitors Center. The painting will
    display uplifting and positive imagery celebrating Macon’s cultural assets and should convey
    Visit Macon’s messaging “Where Soul Lives”. It must also include the words “Welcome” and
    “Macon”.

    All applications will be reviewed by a jury of an art advisory committee that represents a cross
    section of Art Professionals from Macon including administrators, educators and artists.

    Time Line:
    Deadline to apply: March 1, 2019
    Notification of award: March 15, 2019
    Projected Start Date: April 15, 2019
    Projected Completion Date: May 15, 2019

    *Materials Budget: $1500.00

    *Stipend: $4000.00

    *Restrictions: No political or social content
