Project Study Write -Up according to the criteria listed below.

Title : The title should be appropriate ,encompassing the aspects of the study and indicating
what is expected to be found inside the project study report.( 5 points)

Chapter I: THE PROBLEM AND ITS SETTING ( 40 points)

Background of the Study(10 points): The Background of the study should contain a discussion
of any or all of the following:
 Gives the reader a picture of the circumstances that surround what the research is all
about
 The existence of an unsatisfactory condition, a felt problem that needs solution
 A desire to find a better way of doing something or improving a product
 The reason or reasons why it is necessary to conduct the study must be discussed

Statement of the Problem: (10 points)


 The general problem should be explicitly stated together with the specific problems
which are sufficient to cover all the elements of the Project Study

Significance of the Study: (5 points)


 The rationale, timeliness, and or relevance of the study to existing conditions must be
explained or discussed.
 It should include a statement on relevance to felt needs, the potential contribution of
the research to new knowledge, to whom the findings would be useful for and policy
implications and other uses of its results

Scope and Delimitation of the StudY AND Constraints:(5 points)


 The scope of the study is described in terms of content, period of time, specifications
of the project, period of time, type of technology used, etc
 The study’s delimitation mentions what the study is not able to cover and the
justifications for such delimitations

Conceptual Framework: (10 points)


 It depicts in a more vivid way what the researchers would follow as a guide in doing
the study.

Chapter 2: RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODOLOGY (20 points)

 The overview of the research' should be properly explained


 The methodology used in the research should be thoroughly explained
 The chronogram of activities should be properly presented
 For experimental or scientific studies, the target population should be described,
sample should be adequate, method of sampling should appropriate, and data
gathering procedure should be properly presented (20 POINTS)

Chapter 3 AND 4: PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS, INTERPRETATION, CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION (30 points)

 The overview of the research should be properly explained (5 points)

 Testing Procedures should be properly explained and documented or Statistical


treatment (if applicable) should be appropriate (10 points)

 The interpretation of the findings should be sound and in-depth, (15 points)
 The presentation should be objective and unbiased
 The relevance of the conclusions and recommendations to the problem should be
properly presented
Bibliography: Should follow the APA format (5 points)
