III. Procedure:

A. Preliminary Activities
1. Prayer song
2. Greetings
3. Attendance

B. Priming: Show pictures of people having injuries.


 Guide Questions:
a. What do you think happened to the person?
b. In your assessment, does it hurt?
c. Answer Pre- Assessment activity in the learner’s material, p. 369

Activity: Classroom Discussion

-Types on unintentional injury

Analysis:

 Based from the definition, in your own understanding, what is injury?


 How would you feel if you were injured?
 Show pictures of different types of injury and let the students described it.
 What to do in cases of injuries aforementioned.
 Can we prevent these injuries from happening?

F. Understand the behavior of people who are abused at home

a. What is wrong in these pictures?
b. Is it right or wrong?

Activity:
 Elaborate through discussion what is suicide, parasuicide and domestic violence
 Let students site examples of a setting where suicide, parasuicide and domestic violence can mostly happen

Analysis:
 How did you find the acts of injuries presented? Explain.
 What did you feel while looking at the pictures shown? Why?
 in your own little ways, how can you help?
 Show the pictures of Mindoro musical instruments and let the students describe each.
 Can we identify persons at risk of these “injuries”?

Application: Group Activity

 Divide the class into four groups.


 Each group should create a letter of support to persons who want to commit suicide and parasuicide and people
experiencing domestic violence.

- Differentiate extortion from robbery

a. Ask the students to tell something about the pictures shown.

 Watch videos involving kidnapping
 Class discussion on the said topics

Analysis :
 What did you feel while watching and why?
 What are the possible ways to get protected from these incidents?
 Why do you think some people resort to these kinds of violence?
 In your own opinion, why are these actions unjustifiable?

 let each group brainstorm and create a scenario where people are vulnerable to being kidnap or abduct
 Present the skit on class
