OVERVIEW OF EXPERIENCES

-Circulate the classroom and assist students who struggle in Math, Science, English, and History
-Facilitate groups in Science and Math while the teacher tests students in other areas
-Work one on one with students who need extra support in reading (read aloud, guided reading)
-Redirect students who had a hard time focusing
-Taught art skills in small groups
-Administered spelling tests to whole class and small groups
-Help the teacher prep for next lesson such as set up stations, pass out supplies, refill materials, gather supplies,
and grading
-Assist in school activities such as the Fun Run
-Write lesson plans for STEM, Social Studies, and phonics
-Introduce first and second graders to engineering and assist in the plan and design process
-Facilitate classroom discussions in STEM
-Use CELDT test to assess EL student and prepare lesson plans according to English level
-Circulate between fifth and sixth grade and work with students with specific learning disabilities in small
groups
-Facilitate math warm ups with whole class
-Facilitate note taking in math with whole class
