● Shadowed the doctors and nurses and assisted in basic tasks when help was
needed. I also provided patients and their families with food and drinks. I
was responsible for putting together welcoming packages, filled with
necessities such as toothpaste, tooth brush, etc, for the patients.

■ Work with seniors with Alzheimer's and dementia. I assist the physical therapist in
activities such as stretching, playing ball, etc. During the senior’s free time, I am to
converse with them, comfort them, and even play board games.
 ○ Summer internship at University of Maryland, School of Medicine: Pathology Lab
■ Assisted in basic lab procedures such as microscopic photography (taking photos of
cells through a microscope) and plating cells. I also participated in my mentor’s
research by assisting him in analyzing the effects of certain antibiotics on cancer
cells.
○ Internship at Kinder Mender
■ Responsible for taking patient vitals, cleaning examination rooms, and shadowing
pediatricians.
