MBA Requirements

Eligibility criteria for International Business and Finance

Undergraduate Degree in commerce or Business Management with
Finance Specialisation.
Graduates don’t meet the above criteria can get the entry through
the Masters Entry Program (MEP) which consists of business
Economics and Environment, Fundamentals of Financial Accounting,
Fundamentals of Management Accounting and Business Law.
Credit exemptions and advanced entry to Semester 4 (an equivalent
of 120 credits) of Recognized Prior Learning (RPL) is open to
ACCA/CIMA/ICAI qualified and other qualified professionals from IFAC
Member Organizations which offers Professionals Qualifications
equivalent to Schottish Credit and Qualifications Framework – Level
11, subject to the approval from the Admission Team after mapping.
The Program covers ACCA Professional level and CIMA strategic level
papers, it enables the students to qualify ACCA/CIMA along with the
MBA.

Eligibility criteria for International Business

UWS provides students an opportunity of completing the MBA with
advanced entry. The MBA programme has been created with pre-mapped
professional exemptions enabling you to top up your NQF Level 7/SCQF
Level 11 Qualification to an MBA.
As an NQF Level 7/SCQF Level 11 or Equivalent Qualified Student in
Business, you are awarded 120 credit exemptions from a 180 credit MBA
Programme.
Modules to be completed – Dissertation or Business Development Project
(60 Credits).
Eligibility Criteria:
A bachelor’s degree from a recognised university
A fully completed professional qualification
Part qualified in any professional qualification equivalent to an
advanced Diploma with 2 to 3 years of work experience
5 years of work experience of which, minimum of 3 years to be
demonstrated at a supervisory level
Any other qualification subject to verification by the University
