I asked help from some of my close friends, and from my parents. As the competition day came, I was chill but nervous at the same time. I familiarized what I was going to say during our free times. I really didn’t expect that I would win, saying, “Failure is a key to success.” but with faith and hard work, our difficulties will conquer any obstacle. I am thankful for the help of my friends and family, and they were a big part in my victory. Being Guibuan as well, in our batch’s winning play, “NakakaINES!: An Adaptation on the Epic Biag ni Lam-ang,” I am happy that I got through the difficult task of memorizing thirty lines, and all, doing my part to contribute in this year’s English Week.
