13.3.3 Cooling Tower Packing

Cooling tower packing is one of the most important parts of a cooling tower. The packing ensures
maximum contact between air and water to enable cooling. The choice of cooling packing must therefore
be matched with the composition of the water to be cooled and any polluting environment.
13.3.3.1 FIL12
High efficiency packing for clean water application. As standard to 80°C - higher temperature resistance
available on request.

13.3.3.2 FIL19
High efficiency packing for clean water and lightly loaded water application. High efficiency with low
pressure drop. For counter flow and cross flow applications. As standard to 80°C - higher temperature
resistance available on request.

standard to 80°C - higher temperature resistance available on request

.
13.3.3.4 FILOSS19
Packing with open structure - can be cleaned with high pressure water. For counter flow and cross flow
applications. As standard to 75°C - higher temperature resistance available on request.

13.3.3.5 ABN
High efficiency packing for polluted water and heavily polluted water application. For counter flow and
cross flow applications. Can be cleaned with high pressure water and steam.
