The Joy to the World project to be undertaken by the group is expected to adhere to SMART2 and will guided by the underlying need to address various forms of
well-being. This activity will not only be our own way of giving joy to cancer patients, but will also serve as our awareness campaign for what these patients have
gone through and are going through. In this regard, we deem that our activity will be significant. The simple interactions between the students and the cancer
patients will in itself be meaningful, and this will be seen in the sincere and uplifting exchanges with them. For the finality on whether or not the group will push
through with the activity, we will all convene and agree on it. This meeting will also be used to refine our ideas by taking in suggestions from all members of the
group. We want to be relevant by inspiring the participants to embrace bigger roles in community development. With all things said, the project is not only timely
because of the Christmas season – a season of giving, but it is also timely because we believe that these people who are going through turbulent times deserve to
be given the attention and help they deserve.
