WORK SUMMARY
1. Technical Contribution:

 Prepares complete project documents in one’s area of responsibility.

 Prepare Technical Specifications and Tender Documents for project and Capex jobs
 Technical Review of Drawings, Specifications of C&R Panel, AIS based MV/LV
Panel, Motors, Switchyard Equipment- EKD plan section and approval the same
with Technical Clarification/Deviations.
 Involvement in the Design OF Type Test Panels.
 Pre Bid Engineering as well as Detailed Design Engineering.
 Technical Discussion with customer/consultant for approval of drawings.
 Prepare cable schedule, Load Calculation & Load list preparation.
 Proficiency in engineering standards used in industry such as IEC, ANSI, IEEE.
 Procuring and allocating resources to achieve targets in specified time frame.
 Co-ordination with Vendor/Consultant for timely approval of drawings etc.
 UPS & Inverter Battery sizing.
 Lighting Calculations manually or using CG Lux.
 Earthing & Lightning Protection Calculation.
 Other Equipment Sizing as Circuit Breakers, Relays, motor starters, Capacitor
Banks, Local Motor Control Station (LCC/PCC/MCC), Substation etc.
 Bill of Quantity (BOQ) or Material Taken Off (MTO) Calculation.
 Support engineering for Civil & Structure part of Substation, Switchyard.
 Project Planning, Scheduling and Management of resources and risks using Project
Management expertise.
 Proposal Review from Drawings, Specifications and Blueprint Diagrams received
from Vendor/Consultant.
 Proficiency in engineering standards used in industry such as IEC, ISA, IEEE etc.
 Procuring and allocating resources to achieve targets in specified time frame.

2. Sales Support:

 Preparation of Technical comparison which includes, BOQ, Technical

Clarification/Deviations, Risk & Opportunities, Equipment’s GTPs etc.
 Complete procurement of material from initial stage to final including approval and
bidding prepare on ERP/SAP for procurement.
 3. Planning and control:

 Creates work plans and cost estimates in one’s area of responsibility.

 Interacts with customers, officials, contractors and others. Attends project meetings
and presents specific aspects of engineering assignments.

4. Contract management:

 Supports Contract Managers at site for new/change in scope of work, cost impact,
time impact, risk quantifications etc.
 Ensures adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks.

5. Technical leadership and knowledge sharing:

 Maintains network of engineering professionals and shares engineering best

practice across different projects and disciplines.

 Experience in the field of EPC Project Design & Development with Specialization
in Electrical Design. Prepare, study and Review of key drawings
(SLD’s, Electrical Equipment Sizing & Specification) including Technical
Specifications and detailed design engineering.
 Hands on experience of working on AutoCAD, have Done Training on ETAP and
other applications as MS Office and other project & design related software.
  Prepare Techno Commercial offer including specification, load list, Drive List,
Electrical switchgear calculation & provide as per tender requirement.
 Prepare all project file after receiving the document and arrange KICK OFF
meeting with Project, Production, and Purchase & Engineering team to execute
the Project.
 Involve after handover the project to Engineering team regarding the issue &
clarification from the client and schedule meeting with all execution &
engineering team with Client regarding the technical discussion.
 Technical review and approval of Basic Engineering drawings like SLD, Plan,
Section, Clearance Check, EKD-Plan Section & BOM, Earthing, equipment work
including All CB, Isolator, CRP, CT, PT drawing review, Installation,
commissioning work, replacing new switchgears.
 Prepare Technical Specifications and Tender Documents. Review and Approved
SLD, Drawing and relay logics. Procurement activity, done factory inspection of
6.6 KV HT panel and 415V PCC panel.
 Prepare Architecture of EMS 18 No’s Substation having 300 No’s Energy Meters
through OFC/Ethernet Switches to server and based on that done Procurement
activities and successfully installation and commissioning of EMS System.
