Distribución de Planta

El propósito de la distribución de
planta es el de poner creativamente
en orden todos aquellos elementos
que existen dentro en una instalación,
esta distribución puede realizarse
tanto en la industria manufacturera
como en instalaciones que presten
cualquier servicio. Esta técnica se encarga de utilizar cada espacio disponible dentro
de la organización para que los movimientos de material, el almacenamiento, los
empleados, líneas de producción y todas las actividades que se realicen en dicha
instalación estén en armonía y así se puedan minimizar tiempos, espacios y costos.

Su principal objetivo es el de encontrar el lugar adecuado para colocar cada equipo

y cada herramienta en el área de trabajo y así sea eficientes en costos (ahorro
monetario), y al mismo tiempo que el área de trabajo sea lo suficientemente seguro
y ergonómico para evitar accidentes y daños a los materiales asociado con el
sistema de producción. El beneficio no es solo económico, por lo tanto, si tiene una
buena distribución de planta se pueden reducir al mínimo los riesgos de accidentes,
esto es gracias a que se contempla en primer plano la seguridad durante la creación
del diseño. Además, se crea un incremento de la productividad, esto se puede lograr
gracias a que se minimizan los movimientos y las distancias que el empleado tiene
que realizar. Para poder alcanzar las ventajas de la distribución de planta, se tienen
que tomar en cuenta ciertos factores, como los materiales, la maquinaria, los
movimientos, las esperas y las instalaciones. Estos factores pueden variar
dependiendo el tipo de empresa, pero lo que no debe variar es que se debe de
conseguir un equilibrio entre estos factores para así lograr una excelente
distribución.

between these factors in order to achieve an excellent distribution.
