T he 13th Annual Skate the Lake was held on Minnedosa Lake


over the weekend of February 16th and 17th. With a dozen
years under their belt, the committee has things rolling like a
well-oiled machine.
The Skate the Lake hockey tournament began Saturday
morning with six ladies, 19 mens and 16 youth hockey teams
participating. The winners of the youth division were; Novice
– EOS Cats, Atom – Rapid City Dragons, Peewee – Those Guys
of Neepawa, Bantam – Red Hots. The winners of the ladies div-
ision; A-side champs – Minnedosa Insurance, B-side champs
Heritage Co-op and C-side champs – Chiefs Chicks. The win-
ners of the men’s division were; A-side champs – Copperwood
and B-side champs – ‘03 Peewee B Provincial Champs.
Funspiel The second year for Rock the Lake, saw 16 two-person
