 Background of the Activity

1. Please check for Drain hole in the Air filter box

2. If the drain hole missed in the air filter box then it has to
consider for this activity.
3. By making of 3mm hole in Air filter box will avoid water
stagnation.
4. Use Drilling machine to make the hole in the Air filter box.
5. This Job will consume 20 Minutes maximum, Applicable for
both warranty & Paid Vehicles.
6. For Paid cases, charge the amount to customer and for
warranty vehicles, claim the amount in warranty.
7. Since its a company call though the labour amount for Paid and
warranty vehicles will be the same.

STEP 1 : - Remove the Air filter and Box from STEP 2 : - Drain Hole has put in the below
the vehicle. shown location

STEP 5 : - Use Punch tool to Mark the center

STEP 7 : - Use Drilling Machine with 3mm tool STEP 8 : - Drill carefully and make the 3mm
bit hole.

STEP 9 : - Check the proper hole presence in STEP 10 : - Clean the Burr properly small file

STEP 11 : - After cleaning the burr, use the STEP 12 : - Ensure the paint even spread on
spray paint or touch up to paint the damaged the surface
