Note:
- If M1 Le v1.0.2 has already been installed into your PC, please backup your
important .fxb and .cmap files (which are saved as the part of the default setting) before
you install this product, to prevent them from being removed.

Changes and revisions in v1.1.0 from v1.0.4

- Native 64-bit VST plug-in is now supported on Windows 7 or later.

- Windows 8 is now supported.

- System requirements have been changed. For full details on the system requirements,
please visit the product page.

Some minor improvements have been implemented to improve stability.

Changes and revisions in v1.0.4 from v1.0.3

- [Enhancement] Microsoft Windows Vista (32-bit) is now supported.

- [Enhancement] Panning (CC#10) and expression (CC#11) can be controlled via MIDI
control change messages.

- [Enhancement] New INSERT FX SW and MASTER FX SW functions have been added

to the GLOBAL page. While in COMBI, MULTI, and PROG modes, you can
collectively switch all of the insert effects and/or all of the master effects ON and OFF.

- [Enhancement] An additional value of +12dB has been added to the OUTPUT GAIN
parameter on the GLOBAL page. You can set the final output level to -12dB, -6dB,
+0dB, +6dB or +12dB.

Some minor low-level operational bugs have also been fixed.

Changes and revisions in v1.0.3 from v1.0.2

- [Change] The method of the default setting of the .fxb file and the .cmap file that are
loaded when launching the software has been changed. If you would like to make your
saved data the default setting, first, load the file which you have saved, then select
 FILE>Save>"Make Current All Data Default" or "Make Current Controller Map
Default" on the M1 Le screen.

- [Bug fix] The OCTAVE and INTERVAL parameters on the OSC page previously had no
effect on the appended "NT" multisounds. This has been fixed.

- [Bug fix] After editing the DRY/WET parameter on the INSERT FX page and then the
IFX BALANCE parameter on the PERFORMANCE page, the value displayed for the
DRY/WET parameter might have been wrong. This has been fixed.

- [Bug fix] When using the M1 Le within Cakewalk SONAR, it was not possible to finish
entering data from computer's keyboard, because the "ENTER" key was not
recognized. This has been fixed.

- [Change] The variable range of the TRANSPOSE parameter on the MIDI page has been
expanded from -12 - +12 to -24 - +24.

M1 Le v1.0.2 Release Notes

The M1 Le v1.0.2 is based on the M1 Software Synthesizer included in the Korg Legacy
Collection - DIGITAL EDITION. While many of the function are the same, the M1 Le
v1.0.2 differs in the following ways:

- The full version of the M1 software synthesizer contains more than 2700 preset sounds
and 900 PCM samples. This version of the M1 Le contains 200 preset sounds and 144
PCM samples derived from original M1.

- The full version of the M1 software synthesizer provides 440 user-editable preset
locations (including user drum kits). This version of the M1 Le offers 100 user-editable
preset locations; 50 combinations and 50 programs.

- The VDF Resonance parameter cannot be accessed from the M1 Le.

- The Compressor effect type cannot be accessed from the M1 Le.

- The Maximum polyphony is limited to 32 notes.

- The Maximum number of simultaneous outputs is restricted to four.

- Only one instance of the M1 Le can be used as a plug-in at the same time.

- The InsertFX of the Combination/Multi Mode cannot be accessed from the M1 Le.

- Original M1 series data cannot be imported to the M1 Le.

- The Copy and Paste functions are not implemented.

- Data created and saved using the full version of M1 software synthesizer cannot be
loaded into the M1 Le.

About the Owner's Manual

- Not all of the information in the original M1 manual and M1 software synthesizer
manual and M1 software synthesizer quick guide applies to the M1 Le software
synthesizer.

Owner's Manual Addendum

- You can insert a sound in the Browser of a User card, by dragging and dropping a sound
to a different location while holding down your computer's [Ctrl] key.

- The User card data will be saved with the bank data. If you want to make your current
settings the default, name it "M1 Le.fxb", and overwrite the configuration file with this
file (be sure to make a back-up of the original file before doing this!).

Note: Configurations of Global mode in bank data, however, cannot become initial
values. Setting restored in SAVE DEFAULT will be the init setting.

For the stand-alone version, this configuration file is in the "M1 Le" folder.
For the VST plug-in version, it is in the "KORG" folder within the "Vstplugins"
folder of your host application.
For the RTAS plug-in version, it is in the "KORG" folder within the "Common
Files>KORG>Plug-Ins>VST" folder.

- If you customize CC# assignments and want to make your custom controller map the
default, named it "M1 Le.cmap", and overwrite the configuration file with this file (be
sure to make a back-up of the original file before doing this!).

For the stand-alone version, this configuration file is in the "M1 Le" folder.
For the VST plug-in version, it is in the "KORG" folder within the "Vstplugins"
folder of your host application.
For the RTAS plug-in version, it is in the "KORG" folder within the "Common
