UCS-68 a) If MDMT < -48ºC, welded joint shall

comply with UW2b, unless coincident ratio
>0,35.

UCS-68 b) If MDMT es < -48ºC, y el ratio es >=

0.35, PWHT es requerido, excepto que no
aplica para lo siguiente:

Recipientes o partes de recipientes PNº 1 sometidos a a

test de impacto a la MDMT o temperatura mas fria.

La energia minima para impacto promedio será 34 J para

metales base y soldaduras, en vez de lo de la Fig UG 84.1

Las soldaduras categorias A y B serán de tipo 1 (no incluye

cono-cilindro), las que deberán haber sido radiografiadas
Texto 100%.
Las secciones contiguas tendrán una transición 3:1 cuando
tengan distintos espesores.

Catetos de filete con espesores menores a 10 mm,

UCS-68 c) Si se aplica PWHT cuando no sea requerido

por esta División a 30ºF (17ºC) reducción en I.T.
