Summary of Strengths and Areas of Possible Growth

5 Self-Assessment of Teacher Leader Qualities (adapted from Teacher Leader Model Standards (http://www.teacherleaderstandards.org/)
I believe that I am strong within my classroom, and that I am growing within my department. I do want to be a
leader in my school, and hope to one day by part of administration in a few years, when my children are a bit
older and do not depend on me as much, and my husband is done with his master’s/credential program.

I feel that I still need to grow in being more assertive and open in sharing the things that I know and have
learned. I have to be open to learning procedures and information outside of the school that can benefit the
students, my colleagues, my school, and myself.
