humankind ever: getting a place in Jannah. Each individual knew himself,
the number of sins they committed in the past, the grievousness of sins they
perpetrated.

They are well aware of the deeds they carried out during their past. What I

Our sins might be weighing more than the good deeds. So, keep asking
consistently ALLAH Ta’ala for your forgiveness and to make lessen
them. Make it habit make it happen. Refers if you make it your habit you will
surely get the forgiveness, if you will get the forgiveness, you will surely get a
lovely place in Jannah. You are only alive at this moment, you better sorry for
the sins you did. Ain’t you? Get rid of bad habit of not forgiving others. You
need to forgive others as well if you want yourself to be forgiven. If you
forgive others ALLAH will surely forgive you, indeed, Ameen.

Islamic Prayer for Hard Times

“Say: ‘O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair

not of the Mercy of God: for God forgives all sins (except shirk): for He is
Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.'” (39:53)
The aforesaid terms and conditions that must be met in order to attain
forgiveness from ALLAH Subhanahu Wata ‘Ala:

1. The sin has been committed due to the ignorance. It should not have
been committed with the intention that, “Commit the sin as ALLAH
Ta’ala is forgiving, so HE will surely forgive us.”
2. The man who has committed that sin must be required promptly to feel
guilty and turn that into shame and it must express it’s repentance from
the core of his heart after committing a sin out of ignorance;
3. Post asking for forgiveness, that person must make a promise or oath to
“direct his ways towards the right path”, and always stick to his promise.

“…if any of you did evil in ignorance, and thereafter repented and amended
(your conduct), lo! ALLAH is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (6:54)

What Should be Recited for Seeking Forgiveness in Islam?

Gunahon Se Tauba ki Dua

Gunahon se Maghfirat Aur Ayindah Zindagi Mein Na Karne ka Ahad

Har ek shakhs jo paida hua hai gunah zarur karta hai. Chahe wo sagheera
gunah ho ya phir ke kabeera gunaho. Kabira Gunahon ki List. Bas farq sirf
yahi hai ke unpe nadamat zahir kar deta hai aur unki mafi ke liye ALLAH ke
aage gidgidane lagta hai. Aur gunah aage zindagi me nahi karne ka ahad karta
hai. Yahi asal maafi hasil karne ka haqdar hota hai.

Gunahon karte rahne aur mafi mangte rehne se us shakhs ki maghfirat ho ye

zaruri nahi. Balki sachi mafi mangne ke sath-sath wo gunah dubara na kare
phir se mustaqbil mein yahi asal maafi hoti hai.

Gunaho Ki Mafi Ke Liye Kya Parhna Chahiye?

गुनाहो की माफ़ी के िलए क्या पढ़ना चािहए?

Astaghfirullah Rabbi Min Kulli Zambiyon Wa Atoobu Ilaiyh

अस्तग़ िफरुल्लाह रब्बी िमन कुल्ली ज़िम्बंव व आतुबो इलैह

‫ جو میرا رب ہے اور اسی کی طرف‬,‫میں اهلل سے تمام گناہوں کی بکشش مانگتا ہوں‬
‫رجوع کرتا ہوں‬

I ask forgiveness of my sins from ALLAH who is my Lord and I turn towards
HIM.

मैं अल्लाह से तमाम गुनाहों की बिख़्शश मांगता हूँ , जो मेरा रब है और उसी की तरफ रुजू’ करता हूँ |

Astaghfirullah Rabbi Min Kullay Zambin Aznabtuho Amadan Ao Khat An

Sirran Ao Alaniatan Wa Atoobo ilaihe Minaz-Zambil Lazee Aalamo Wa
Minaz-Zambil-Lazee La-Aalamo innaka Anta-Allamul Ghuyoobi Wa
Sattaarul ‘Uyoobi Wa Ghaffaruz-Zunoobi Wala Hawla Wala Quwwata illa
billahil ‘Aliyyil ‘Azeem.

I seek forgiveness from ALLAH, who is my Creator and Cherisher, from every
sin I committed knowingly or unknowingly, secretly or openly. I also seek His
forgiveness for all sins which I am aware of or am not aware of. Certainly, You
(O ALLAH!), are The Knower of the hidden and The Concealer of mistakes
and The Forgiver of sins. And there is no power and no strength except with
ALLAH, The Most High, The Most Great.

Main ALLAH se maafi mangta hun jo mera rabb hai, apne har us gunah se jo
maine jan boojhkar kiya ya bhul kar kiya, chhup kar kiya ya zahiran kiya. Aur
main uski baargah me tauba karta hu us gunah se jisko main janta hun aur us
gunah se bhi main jisko nahi janta. Ae ALLAH beshak tu ghaibo ko janne
wala hai aur ‘aibo ko chhupane wala aur gunahon ko bakhshne wala hai. Aur
gunah se bachne ki taakat aur neki karne ki quwwat nahi magar ALLAH ki
madad se jo bahot buland azmatwala hain.

मैं अल्लाह से माफ़ी मांगता हूँ जो मेरा रब्ब है, अपने हर उस गुनाह से जो मैंने जान बूझकर िकया या भूल कर
िकया, छु प कर िकया या ज़ािहरन िकया| और मैं उसकी बारगाह में तौबा करता हूँ उस गुनाह से िजसको मैं
जानता हूँ और उस गुनाह से भी मैं िजसको नहीं जानता| ऐ अल्लाह बेशक तू ग़ाइबो को जानने वाला है और
‘ऐबों को छु पाने वाला और गुनाहों को बख़्शने वाला है| और गुनाह से बचने की ताक़त और नेकी करने की
क़ूव्वत नहीं मगर अल्लाह की मदद से जो बहुत बुलन्द अज़मत वाला हैं|

Recite at least ten times the above dua before sleeping every night. If you
want you can recite any number of times in the whole day to seek forigveness
from your entire sins. And make a dua to seek forgiveness from your entire
sins (major and minor) Insha ALLAH you will be forgiven, Ameen.
Gunaho ki maafi ki dua ke liye astaghfar ki puri dua ko ap sone se qabl pahle
10 martaba parh kar soye. Agar ap chaahe to pure din mein jitna zyada chahe
utni bar parh sakte hai. Aur phir gunahon se mafi ki dua bhi kijiye, Insha
ALLAH tamam gunahon se mafi milegi, Ameen.

Insha ALLAH apke gunah maf honge, Ameen. Ya fir ap chahe to pure din
bhar mein kam-az-kam ek sau (100) martaba rozana Astaghfaar ki jo upar di
hui dua hai use parhiye. Ise dua ka apne tamam sagira ya kabira gunaho ki
mafi ki niyat se wird kijiye. Aur kabhi ye gunah zindagi mein dubara na karne
ki ALLAH pak se a’had kijiye aur wada kijiye. Aur kabhi ise mustaqbil mein
na dhohraye.

Insha ALLAH apke tamam gunah maaf honge, chahe maazi mein apne kitne
hi barhe gunah kyu na kiye ho apne. ALLAH Ta’ala se hamesha mafi ki
ummid rahiye wo Ra’hmaan hai. Apke gunaho se kayi martaba zyada ALLAH
ki rehmat hai, beshaq.

You can also recite this dua at least 100 times every day.

Important Note: Females can recite this Astaghfar during their 7 days of
menses/periods.

Mafi ki Dua in Hindi

अल्लाह से तमाम गुनाहों की माफ़ी मांगने की दुआ िहंदी में

अस्तग़फ़ार की पूरी दुआ को आप सोने से क़ब्ल पहले 10 मरतबा पढ़ कर सोयें| ऐसा रोज़ाना कीिजये,
इं शा अल्लाह आपके तमाम गुनाह माफ़ होंगे, आमीन| या िफर आप चाहे तो पुरे िदन भर में कम-अज़-कम
एक सौ (100) मरतबा रोज़ाना अस्तग़फ़ार की जो ऊपर दी हुई दुआ है उसे पिढ़ए| इस दुआ का तमाम
सग़ीरा या कबीरा गुनाहो की माफ़ी की िनयत से िवदर् कीिजये|
अल्हम्दुिलल्लाह ये अल्लाह त’आला का करम है के हमें माफ़ी अता फरमाने के िलए ये बेशक़ीमती दुआ
तोहफे में दी| शयातीन लाख हमें बरगला दें हम गुनाह कर ले, लेिकन अल्लाह त’आला का भी वादा है
शैतान से के वो भी हमारे नदामत के आं सुओ पर हमारे माफ़ी मांगने पर हमें माफ़ करते जायेंगे| बस वो गुनाह
कभी न करने का अल्लाह त’आला से अहद कीिजये और िदल से नदामत ज़ािहर कीिजये|

और कभी इसे मुस्तक़िबल में न दोहराये| इं शा अल्लाह हमारे तमाम गुनाह बेशक माफ़ होंगे| चाहे माज़ी में
अपने िकतने ही बढ़े गुनाह क्यों न िकए हो हमने| अल्लाह त’आला से हमेशा माफ़ी की उम्मीद रिखये वो
रहमान है| हमारे गुनाहो से कई मरतबा ज़्यादा अल्लाह त’आला की रेहमत है| बेशक अल्लाह त’आला
गुनाहो को माफ़ करने वाला और बख़्शने वाला ग़फूरूरर रहीम है|

ग़ौरतलब : ख्वातीन ये अस्तग़फ़ार की दुआ हैज़/माहवारी में पढ़ सकती है|

Once The Holy Prophet Mu’hammad (SallALLAHU Alayhe Wasallam) said to

Sayyiduna Ali (Radi ALLAHU Anhu): “Do five things before going to bed at
night,one of them was to make peace between two fighting people .

When Hazrat Ali (R.A) said that “O Prophet of ALLAH, this is very difficult
for me.”

The Holy Prophet Mu’hammad (SallALLAHU Alayhe Wasallam) then said,

Recite Astaghfirullah Rabbi Min Kulli Zambiyon Wa Atoobu

Ilaiyh ten times, and you will gain the reward of making peace between two
fighting people.

Seeking Forgiveness of All Sins through Salatu-ul-Taubah

The prayer of repentance or Salt-ul-Tawbah is prescribed in Sharee’ah

The scholars are unanimously agreed that the prayer of repentance or Salt-ul-
Tawbah is prescribed in Sharee’ah. Abu Dawood (1521) narrated that Abu
Bakr al-Siddeeq (may ALLAH be pleased with Him) said:
I heard the Messenger of ALLAH SallALLAHU Alayhe Wasallam (Peace and
Blessings of ALLAH be Upon Him) says: “There is no one who commits a sin
then purifies himself well and stands and prays two rak’ahs, then asks
Allaah for forgiveness, but ALLAH will forgive him.

After this He recited this verse: ‘And those who, when they have committed
Faahishah (illegal sexual intercourse) or wronged themselves with evil,
remember Allaah and ask forgiveness for their sins; — and none can forgive
sins but Allaah — and do not persist in what (wrong) they have done, while
they know’ [Aal ‘Imraan 3:135].” Classed as sahaah by al-Albaani in Saheeh
Abi Dawood.

Prayers for Forgiveness in Islam

The Reason to Perform the Prayer of Repentance or Salat-ul-

Tawbah

If any Muslim has fallen into sins. Regardless of the fact that it major or
minor. He must have to repent straight way from his heart. He should pray
two raka’h optional prayers with the intention of asking for forgiveness from
ALLAH Subhanahu Wata ‘Ala.

The Time to Perform the Prayer of Repentance or Salat-ul-

Tawbah

This is a Mustahab prayer. A Muslim can perform this immediately after

committing the sin. The sinner must not delay in this and should hasten to
ask for seeking forgiveness from ALLAH Ta’ala. Better be it offered before a
Muslim dies. It is good if a Muslim who has committed the sin offers this
prayer immediately, in other circumstances, it should be before his death. In
case, if a Muslim is on the death bed and his soul has been extracting out of
his throat, he can make an intention and ask ALLAH Azzawajal to
seek forgiveness. He will surely be forgiven, Ameen. ALLAHUMMA Ameen.

The prayer of repentance is prescribed at all times. Even when the prayers are
disallowed (such as after late afternoon (‘Asr) prayer). It is one of the prayers
that are done for a reason, so it is recommended when the reason for it is
present.

Where to Perform the Prayer of Repentance or Salat-ul-

Tawbah?

The Prayer of Repentance or Salat-ul-Tawbah should be offer alone and not

of the congregation. It is better to offer this at home and not to offer this Nifl
prayer in congregation. Likewise in the early morning, noon, late afternoon,
twilight and night prayers.

Salat-ul-Taubah ada karne ke liye kisi bhi behtar waqt do rakah nifl ada kare.
ye nifli namaz hoti hai iske ada karne ke bad niche di hui dua parhiye aur
uske bad ro-rokar girh-girhakar ALLAH Pak se apne gunaho ki mafi mangiye,
Insha ALLAH maf honge, Ameen.

Ask for Forgiveness to ALLAH Ta’ala After Offering the Prayer of

Repentance-Salat-ul-Tawbah

Cry and ask for forgiveness to ALLAH Subhanahu Wata ‘Ala with tears in
your eyes. Go in the state of prostration, beg for the forgiveness and make a
dua. Promise ALLAH Azzawajal not to repeat the sin in future. If ALLAH
wills you will surely be forgiven, indeed.
