COME NOW the lowa Board of Nursing ("Board") and Angela Dee Belk (‘Respondent’) and enter into the following Agreement Not to Practice (Agroement’): 4. Respondent holds lowa RN license number 097017, which is currently active through August 15, 2020, and lowa PN license number P3717, which is currently inactive. 2. On April 14, 2018, Respondent was arrested and charged with Sexual Exploitation by a School Employee, a felony, in Linn County, fowa. 3. In order to allow Respondent the opportunity to respond to the pending criminal charge, and to mest the Board's interest in protecting the public in the absence of a disciplinary proceeding, the parties agree to the following: a. The Board will not pursue formal disciplinary charges against Respondent until the pending criminal charge is resolved in the District Court for Linn County, lowa, 18-104 A Bok 1b. Respondent will not practice nursing or engage in any conduct that requires a license to practice nursing in the State of lowa until the criminal charge is resolved at the District Court level and until any subsequent Board-issued disciplinary charges against her are resolved through further order of the Board. Respondent understands that this Agreement will result in her licensure status being changed to "Suspended until further order of the Board. 4. Respondent is freely and voluntarily entering into this Agreement. 5. Respondent understands this Agreement, when fully executed, is a public record and is available for inspection and copying in accordance with the requirements of lowa Code chapters 22 and 272C. 6, Respondent understands the Board is required by federal law to report any adverse action to the National Practitioner Data Bank. 7. This Agreement is subject fo approval by the Board. If the Board does not approve the Agreement, it shall be of no force or effect to either party. 8.
