DESCRIPTION:
Procedure:
Make certain that tow bar is in horizontal position, and that aircraft towing point and vehicle towing point are not higher than 16 inch (0.40 m).
Caution: Towing with the hydraulic system pressurized can result in steering system damage.
- Before towing the aircraft, make certain that N/W steering switch is in the "OFF" position.
Caution: Use only tow bar designed for this aircraft.
- Never tow the aircraft at an angle which will cause the main gear tires to slide. Be careful when towing at sharp angles; tow very slowly. When
towing from the nose gear do not exceed the turning angle indicated by the pointer installed on the leg structure and the graduated plate bonded to
the turning tube.

- Never tow the aircraft if wind exceeds 50 knots.

DESCRIPTION:
1 .Towing of the aircraft from main gear is performed in the following conditions:
- with aircraft off the runway, in soft sand, earth or mud.
- with main or nose gear having two flat tires on one axle.
Note: when towing an aircraft in a multiple flat tire condition, numerous variables that might cause more damage should be considered. In addition
to the flat tire situation, the variables to be considered include weather, ramp inclination, airplane weight, symmetrical loading, center of gravity
location, tire tread, position and condition of landing gear.
Warning: when towing do not exceed the maximun main gear towing load limit of 2,450 kg or 5,401.33 LB for each gear.
2. Make certain that the landing gear ground locking pins are installed.

3. Make certain that static ground cables have been removed.
4. Connect main landing gear debogging yokes to the gear at point (1) to tow forward or at point (2) to tow aft.
Caution: Use only debogging yokes designed for this aircraft.
5. Connect tow bar cables to debogging yokes.
Note: when cables are used for towing, it is good practice to attach connecting ropes at frequent intervals to minimize whipping in the event of
cable break.
Cables must be of sufficient length to clear aircraft and to allow the towing vehicle to be operative on hard, firm surface. The minimum length of
cables must be 14m (46 feet).
