Our Story:
● Our grandparents immigrated from Moscow in 1899, escaping persecution in Russia. They originally
settled in Massachusetts, but they made the move out to Texas, as they were not doing well
financially. By 1902, they joined the loving community of Salados and established their farm and
business.
● Since its founding, our business has been passed on through the generations. In addition to
benefiting the Salados community, we have also provided work to many of the Hispanic immigrants
in our neighborhood, as our business has expanded to more than what we can run alone.
● We raise the cows ourselves! All the meat we sell originates from the cows on our 72 acres of
farmland. Our cows do not live in close quarters and are able to spread out in our spacious fields.
These cows our grass-fed with organically grown grass and never go to bed hungry. We ensure the
best organic meat, as our cows are given the best life possible.
● Over the years, we have received countless of awards. This includes: “#1 Meat of Salados” and an A+
rating from The Better Business Bureau.
Our Goal:
● Under our care, we guarantee to provide the best possible lives for our cows. We make
sure they are constantly being fed, so they never go to bed hungry. We also encourage
our cows to socialize, so they live happy, full lives. After all, you are what you eat!
● With a growing American market filled with preservatives and food high in MSG, we
sell proper food to battle all the artificial foods being sold. We grass-feed our cows
with organic grass in order to ensure we properly accomplish our goal.
● Normally, the cost of organic meat can be overwhelming. In order to encourage
healthy eating, we aim to provide the freshest meat at the lowest prices we can. As our
slogan states: “Quality meat, quality prices”.
