Ambient Air Quality Monitors

Blue Tomorrow, LLC | 411 E. Canon Perdido St. Ste 1, Santa Barbara, CA 93101 | info@blue-tomorrow.com
Introduction

Blue Tomorrow builds and deploys customized air quality monitors that
can be outfitted with a range of sensors to fit your monitoring needs.
The modular design of our air monitors allows you to integrate low-cost
sensors that measure criteria air pollutants, other important air
pollutants, and meteorological parameters.

Our monitors can continuously detect your selected parameters and

are equipped with data telemetry (e.g., cellular, wi-fi), allowing you to
remotely access real-time air quality information. Based on the
locations of monitoring needs, air quality monitors can use grid power
or be equipped with battery or solar power to allow for remote
monitoring.

Table of Contents

Monitoring local air quality is a powerful tool for identifying air pollutants, understanding a pollutants impact
through space and time, and determining the source of a pollutant. Our monitors can be used for wildfire,
fenceline, or community-scale monitoring, and much more.

The following pages contain detailed information about the sensors we integrate into our air quality monitors:

• Monitor & Sensor Overview ……………………………………………………............................................................... 3

• Criteria Pollutant Sensors ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… 4
• Other Pollutant & Meteorological Sensors ……………………………………………………………………………………………. 5

Monitor & Sensor Overview

We ensure that our monitors accurately measure pollutant levels by collocating monitors with Federal Equivalent Method
(FEM) monitors. We compare the information recorded by our monitors to data from FEM monitors to inform algorithm
correction factors for calibrating sensor results. All sensors are housed in a weatherproof housing that does not need
additional shielding or protection from the elements.

Our monitors can be equipped to detect:
